Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field, I'll meet you there

Rumi

I practice yoga because I love yoga. It’s this love that fuels my practice, my learning, my teaching and binds the three together. It has been 15 years since yoga found me and I am continually inspired by its transformative power of movement and presence.

I am fortunate to have acquired thousands of hours of formal training in yoga and meditation and consider myself a forever student, always learning and applying these teachings, ultimately, to the life-long study and refinement of Self.

I am deeply grateful for my many teachers, my practice, my peers, and the students who show up on their mats (and chairs!).

I offer a playful blend of self-exploration and empowering postures, working with breath to cultivate space in the body and in the heart. It is my privilege and intention to offer a safe place for personal growth in mind, body and spirit.

As past director of The Front YogaLoft at The Front Climbing Club in Ogden, Utah and, a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher and trainer, I led the studio’s YogaLife Teacher Training program for six years where we successfully trained over 100 yoga teachers.

I found chair yoga almost by accident. Having been asked to sub a local class I jumped at the chance to try something new. I immediately fell in love with the practice and the people that chair yoga attracted. I’ve been teaching in-person community chair yoga classes for several years. This on-line venture is new and exciting for me. As it always does, the world is changing rapidly. Offering virtual chair yoga classes that allow anyone, anywhere to practice yoga in the safe, cozy place of home is fun and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
